Graduate Fellow
Natasha Alvarez is an undergraduate student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, working towards her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, and hoping to continue at John Jay to pursue her MPA. Her academic interests include gender disparities in the public sector, government accountability, and racial and income-based inequality in the justice system. She is also particularly interested in studying environmental policies aimed at combating global warming and environmental racism. She hopes to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to work towards a systematic policy-based change to address the current issues our community is facing. Outside of her academic interests, she enjoys swimming, going to the movie theater, and spending time with my cat.
