
Erik Krause
Graduate Fellow
Erik Krause is a graduate student at John Jay College pursuing a Master of Public Administration – Public Policy and Administration degree. He has an MBA from New York University with concentrations in marketing, analytics, and entertainment & media. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Ohio State University with a specialization in marketing and a minor in design. Erik is also a Fellow at the New York Community Trust and a volunteer Team Leader with New York Cares. He has over six years of experience in advertising working with a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Erik is pursuing an MPA in order to “pivot” his career and focus on communications strategy and policy analysis for progressive causes in the public sector.
While working with IGEPS, Erik published an op-ed in City & State New York: Online harassment of politicians more often targets women and must be fought with policies requiring media literacy.
